Rod Bolts and Bearings??
I was wondering if it would be safe for me and my mechanic (1 of the few people i trust w/ my car) to drop the oil pan etc
and install some arp rod bolts and some new acl bearings on my crv block for some extra insurance.
OR
is this something that should be left up to a machine shop.
give me any helpful information you have
thanks

Its always best to mic the crank for proper bearing size so this should be left up to the machine shop we have a good saying though if it aint broke dont fix it......
hey when you install rod bolts you have to have the baring holes re-sized and the bolt pressed in. so I dont know how you would install them with out taking the rods out.
