just orderd some rota slips for my 93 coupe and it dont come w/ lugnuts could I use stock integra lugs? or do I need tuner lugs?

 

You need lugs with a cone type seat. Stock ones use an 'acorn' (round) seat. Any aftermarket lugs have the cone type.

 

Make sure u get something w/ a lock in the set [i.e.- mugen, moteki etc.]. Just don't get kyokugen [suck]. I don't know about where u are... but wheels get stolen alot where I am.

 

kyokugen also suck because i have broken TWO of the lug sockets that come with the set. have fun gettin those off, HA

 

muteki the are really good for the price (32$ shipped here on HT's sponser section)

 

muteki are good, you get what you pay for and 32 dollars is not bad to protect 900 dollar rims

 

whats the difference between closed and opend lugnuts? which ones should I get for my rota slips?

 

I have zenki lugnuts on mine. They do not lock and they seem like they could break easily.

 

stay away from kyokugens

 

open ende lugs have an open end [u can see the end of the stud in the lug] and are made to be used on extended studs for racing

 

My friend stripped his kyokugen tool... he just cut off the stripped part and removed his lugs no prob. The tool is pretty long and theres enough depth to do it. If u get em off again... make it the last time they were on ur car... they are sooo shitty.

 

Yeah stay away from kyokugen's I stripped mine also

Just get some gorillas from summitracing.com. I have had them on 4 different cars and never had a problem. You need 12mmx1.5. They come in red, black, blue, or chrome.
