did this happen all of a sudden, or did you get the car like that?
if it happened out of the blue you must have a blown fuse somewhere. if not then its a short in the wire, but usually its a fuse man. the one for the dome and door chime is on the interior panel under the steering wheel.
if not then you must keep looking, who did the alarm install, could be related to that as well.
