what gas milage are you gettting in your crx/ef/ed ?
I think i'm burning too much fuel , here's what i have.
91 CRX DX / b18c1 swap and obd1
ecu p72 obd1 w/ erics program.
stock dx cat,2.5" piping
**** for an air intake
fpr set at 44 or so.
well after every fill up i reset the meter and i seem to be getting aroun d 180 mile to the whole tank, best so far has been like 220 or so, but not lately.
edit*** im running an ls tranny

what are you guys getting is this normal or definitly somthing wrong!?

About 20-23 mpg, B16a, ITR cams, I/E, B&M FPR, on an ITR tranny.

 

B18a1 block B20 head T3/T4 turbo all done up i get around 190miles on a full tank with 93 octane

 

B18C1, YS1 tranny, bolt ons about 20ish depending on my mood with the gas pedal

 

I've got a stock mighty D15 Dual Point and tranny I get about 30ish in the city and 38ish on the HWY

 

i would say i get around 20ish. i drive my car like i stole it.... j/k

i do tend to be heavy on the pedal, but with my s1 tranny im at 5000 rpms at 70-75mph thats why its so dam low.

 

Well when I drive from Sac to San Diego (about 600 miles) and starting with a full tank I only have to re-fuel twice and when I end up in San diego I have half a tank left. So i'm guessing 40-45 maby more (90 HF with intake, header, 2.5" exhaust)

 

I can consistently get at least 220 miles per tank

 

B16A, CTR pistons, S2S1 cams, I/H/E, Hondata. I get 33.5 hwy, 25 city. Damn b16 tranny.....

Is this the mileage expected out of bseries, and why? Is it the older engines or the small tanks?

because of the ratios in most cable trannys and the way we drive 'em after being used to a D-series for so long!!

 

My gearing is really short which suits the B16 well and I fill up with 9 gallons.

 

B17, LS tranny, with half street and freeway, half driving like i stole it and half G-ma **** = 27-28 with cat, 30-32 no cat

 

My 88 Hatch with B16 swap and 160+ miles a day gets about 250 a tank.

 

88 STD supporting 32/39 if I'm real nice, 30/35 not so nice

it also can't get out of its own way

 

D16A6 in my STD HB.

I get 18-26 MPG. I am usually in the powerband.

 

d15b8 in the 91 civic si (don't ask)

Got 35 MPG around when I got it, went down to like 28 when I started to get heavy on the gas cuz I had a slow motor . AND I was running rich as hell (black driveway).

 

I get right around 30mpg average city/Hwy 91 stock dx. With my old b16 i was getting around 25-27 average (in an 87 civic Si). Hopefully with the built motor i can get around 30 hwy. and 23 city.

so i fill up usually with 9 gallons as well and it last me around an average of 180 to the whole tank so i'm getting around = 20mpg.. that kinda sucks since i'm using an ls tranny. and am pretty much a stock gsr motor xept for light fw/ and ecu. 91 crx dx

 

I am getting around 35/40, but those are Canadian gallons I think (slightly larger, I use a program on my Palm to calculate it).....D15b2 at its best...

 

on my stock d16a6 it goes out at 345miles

32 hwy and 20-24 city .I have an LS tranny on it btw.
