Man, Cali blows. Hope you get your car back in somewhat decent shape, maybe the probs u were having with the head wil deter them from stripping the motor? sorry about your loss.

San Jose is actually Nor Cal....where I Live....
I hate thieves either way though. Sacramento, CA is 5th in the nation for stolen cars. I think Cali has one of the biggest theft rates period.

U know i actually have dreams about losing **** or having my car broken into. They seem so real it's a relief to wake up and find that everything is fine. I try not to invest too much in my car for this reason and I always park it right in front of my bedroom window =].
the odd thing is that they took off the bumper signal light, it seems like they cut it off, do you guys know why?
tis kind of odd to me.

I hate car thieves! I had my MR2 stolen 2 years ago, lost a **** load of money in aftermarket stuff! It ran when I got it back, but only for 6 months, bastard drove it like he stole it and popped the head gasket! I haven't wanted to tune a car since, until I saw the Civic HB I am about to buy! Hang in there man, maybe they'll find it unhurt!

Why not? Just live in the ghetto, your car won't be messed with there.

You might have a chance finding it because San Jose is located Northern California. If the car was stolen near San Diego area like the silver Integra last week, it will probably be in T.J. I hate thieves!!

Man, that is horrible... if you were up here toward Livermore, I would say to check Stockton (notorious for vehicles ending up there).

I had a nightmare the other night that I went out to my CRX to warm it up in the morning, and there it was on jack stands, stripped to nothing. All of the carpet, the windows, fenders, bolts, anything removable was gone. I remember in my nightmare even the rear quarter panels had been cut out and stolen! When I woke up, instead of being relieved I felt sick still.
Anyways, to the original poster: good luck man, hopefully the thieves just wanted something like the wheels and no the engine or the whole car.

dang so many car stolen is there any good preventions at all? i seen cars with all these securities : kill switch cluitch lock brake lock alamr etc. and they still break it and get it
those clutch locks dont really work anymore. i heard people nowadays can break them. the only strong part of that lock is the part that pulls on the clutch pedal, the two bars on the side arent that strong and thieves tend to break those with ease.
