Default Spoon copy mirrors for eg, anyone know the weight?

hey all, just curious if anyone knows the weight of <U>non-powered</U> spoon copy mirrors. if anyone has a set sitting there and can weigh them, that would be greatly appreciated. i tried calling numerous retailers and nobody will quote me exact weight. TIA

your right.. there no way they could be more than 50lbs either. lol

they gotta weight like a pound each. their weight is miniscule with respect to the car.

lb is a lb. it all adds up. i just don't want to spend a $100 on mirrors to find out they weigh the same as stock.

If it's a race car, just take the mirrors off completely. If it's a street car, the two pounds you save per mirror won't matter.

U can get those mirrors delivered from K2motor.com for about $65 [they also sell them for the same price on ebay as a buy it now & they ship fast]... the only way u could weigh them is w/ a gram scale - know a street pharmacist?

I hope your car is involved in VERY serious racing if you are worried about a few ounces of weight.

Your car with the flat black fiberglass front end is the best.

Yes, he really is. There's only one thing left that I know of that can really shave some weight

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nyceguy17 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I hope your car is involved in VERY serious racing if you are worried about a few ounces of weight. </TD></TR></TABLE>

A few ounces here and there add up. If you can find 25 things that 1-2 lb each to remove from your car, which there is, thats 25-50 lbs. But there's only one or two things in the car that weigh 25-50 lbs that can be taken out. The key to shaving weight from the car is finding the 50 things.
