sorry, I don't need the whole manual. Basically, I need to find out what exactly brake pad "clips" do. If they are are broke is it bad or just causes abnormal tear on the pads.

I don't know All I know is they were replaced twice under warranty due t o being defective. They also replaced the pads when they did this.
Pad clips, if it's what I'm thinking of, are small metal pieces that go at the top and bottom of the pad, and are basically shims that hold the pads in place.
