I'm about to get my smog check done. A friend of mine knows a test only guy that will let the visuals pass as long as I pass the emissions part. So I was wondering: what are the best settings for a Vafc and cam gear as far as getting the cleanest emmisions? Thanx.

Its a jdm d15b, i,h,e, cam gear (tuned), vafc (tuned), hi flo cat, fuel pressure regulator (tuned), and pulleys.

thats not all that much. If you tune it back down to stock Im sure youll pass if your cat is decent.

 

u should pass easy...i pass with a JDM B16a i/h/e CTR cam....

If everything is tuned to 14.7 you should pass.

If not write down all your settings and go back to stock then go back to tune when your done.

you a/f ratio should be tuned to 14.7 (which is pretty hard to do w/o a wideband). I just say zero EVERYthing out (cam gear, vafc, fuelpressure). there's no reason that a stock d15b with i/h/e shouldnt pass
