Went to the drags....bad wheel hop....car started to free rev

we have removed the tranny, took it apart and can find no damage

the LSD looks fine...... only visible damage is to the the very end of the passenger side axle splines...I am told not enough to cause the car to free rev

the clutch is good.....

any ideas on what it could be?

we are taking the LSD apart today to ispect internals, like i said externally it looks good
