I have a nice CRX that ive built.. But thing is we have w inter here and my car has no rust and is in good shape i dont want to ruin it.

I want to buy a 92-95 Civic.. That will be my beater and aventually get a Turbo H22 for a drag car.

Thing is.. What model should i look for. I dont really care what motor it has now, i just want the lightest on possible?

DX, CX, CCX, LX ?

The CX hatch was the lightest one, as it had absolutely no options whatsoever. Has an 8-valve 70-hp 1.5 liter.

 

if you get a year 94 vx is 20lb lighter then cx if i remember correctly

 

cx would probably be a good bet because they are pretty common and quite cheap (around ontario anyways). it's also much easier to find a CX with less body rust.

wont it be better to build the rex into a drag car?
