im trying to find the underside of a stock hood. like metal or jdm hood. i want to see if the latch assembly is removable on them, i dont remeber off hand its been like 4 years since i owned my ef9

 

the latch assembly is, cause i took it off my stock hood to put on my cf hood.

 

yeah the latch assembly, or the "striker" as it's referred to by honda is removable. typically, you take the latch assembly off and re-install it on the underside of a carbon fiber hood like the guy above me said.
