Default removal of radio, help please

The dash panel around the radio in a ITR, how the f-ck do I get it off I tried taking out all of the screws and still nothing. I had taken out the center armrest removed the lower dash under the steering wheel and still i could not find the magic bolt, I know it has to have a hidden clip or two but what do I do?
even with all that removed it was still very secure and not much slack...

There is a screw if you look strait up underneath the center that goes into the radio supports......if that is removed then you are just pulling on attached cabling.....detach all cables/connectors from the dash unit.

ok maybe this would help u to help me, i took out the screws(one on each side) toward the front on the side then the three in the ashtray(straight in) then i took out the center armrest two screws on each side and the two that hold down the center armrest and the shifter console. does the cf base plate around the shifter come out if so how? just pull? another... the little pocket under the radio, how is that held in. does the slide out cup holder stay in or does it have to be removed?

thanks for the help,Bbasso

I'm going in to the garage right now with the knowledge from that web site.
I have a system from my old car, pioneer P1R and many other goodies...
