help D4 light blinks
my D4 light is blinking when i m driving. When i start my car, it juke when i shift to reverse(R), it will jukes twice. Honda didn't give me a very clear answer, they said i need to replace the wire and harness around my tranny. Basically they didn't explain ****. Another shop i go to, they said one of my sensor is short on the tranny. The 3rd shop i went to, they told me i need a new computer. Can someone tell me what's wrong??
Another problem, my key gets stuck sometimes, i have to restart the car, and shift gear to D4, then shift back to park, shut it down, then the key will come out. What is the problem ???

The tranny controller uses the D4 light like a 'check-tranny light'. Gotta read the stored error code. What year Accord? If it's OBD-2 go to parts store & have them read the code. Each place was guessing something different, but they'll all have to do the diagnosis to be sure.
The key sticking is your interlock switches at the shift lever. It's not supposed to let you take out the key unless it's in Park. Somehow the key cylinder doesn't 'know' it's in park...

That sure sounds like the ignition interlock system...
Make sure you ask whether you're included in the extended warranty business for that tranny. There's some dealer-tech people on here that would know better than me.

Go to AutoZone, let them plug in a code reader, have them tell you the error code number. Why should you (or we) guess about solenoids or harnesses or whatever other BS they're saying? Get the code number. Sometimes their explanation of the problem is silly, but come back here with the number.
Meanwhile, search for v6 auto tranny warranty extension. Or call the dealer & ask point-blank about it.
