Default ITR sway bars on LS - do I need any extra parts?

Just bought front and rear ITR sway bars on ebay and am about to order the BSQ installation kit for my '96 LS.

The bars have not arrived yet and I need to know which of the parts below I will need to order -if any- to complete the installation. I also have no idea what parts I'll need, if any, to install the front bar. Will the ITR front sway bolt directly up to my existing LS without any additional parts?

The parts listed for the rear install: (I don't have these parts - I got the list from the BSQ instructions)

2.) 52315-ST7-Z01 swaybar bushing ($3.27) (2 needed)
3.) 52308-SS0-000 bushing bracket ($5.14) (2 needed)
4.) 52316-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing ($1.46) (2 needed)
5.) 52312-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing collar ($4.16) (4 needed) – this part can be reused from the stock swaybar
6.) 90175-ST7-Z00 bolt (8x35) ($2.06) (2 needed)
7.) 94050-08080 flange nut (8mm) ($0.10) (2 needed)

Here's photos of the bars and what comes with them. Looks to me like the sway bar bushings are still on them:

I believe that you have everything with the bsq system and the ITR sway bars. BTW, where did you get the bars from?

I bid on these bars when they where at 50, and i was not around for the close.

Check out my old thread about ITR bars and the BSQ kit.

Let us know how you like the bars.

Damn - ya - that's what I've found out. It looks like the rear bar is the only one worth installing. Ah, what seemed like such a great bargain, has ended up to be only a so-so bargain. Ebay can be a narcotic sometimes and cloud my judgment.

Thanks guys.

It would be nice if you could upgrade both the front and rear sway but the rear is the only one i am aware of that has an adapter kit (ala BSQ)...

Post something that actually contribute.

To the orginal poster...i m sorry about this OT statement to this ********.

Well, this is what this guy wrote...it makes sense to me. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by shamoo &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

The front ITR bar might even be the same as a LS (24mm on my 1997 LS). The point of modifying the sway bars is to get more of a neutral handling car. To do that, you want to thicken the rear sway bar.

Getting a thick sway bar, and then modifying your front one to a thicker one will just negate what you just did. It'll go back to the oversteering car that you had before.

Tim2179,

Looking at the pictures you can see that you have #2 (swaybar bushings). More than likely you have #4 (endlink bushings) and #5 (endlink bushing collars), but I cannot tell for sure from the pictures. So you only need #3 (bushing brackets), #6 (8x35 bolts) and #7 (flange nuts).

I would love to find a dealer that still has one of these espically for that kinda price. I have found fronts all over the place, but no rears. There is a rear on e-bay for $120 right now.

Any help from anyone??

You can get an ITR sway bar from Acuraparts247.com for $63.15 + shipping
http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no

Also, if you went to BSQ's site, you'd have a link and list of all the parts you'd need.
