Default Question about header and high flow cat/test pipe setup with my rs-r exmag.

Well I just got my RSR Exmag in the mail and plan on getting it installed on Thursday. But I'm already planning on getting a header, with a high flow cat or test pipe. The header I had in mind was going to be a comptech 4-2-1. (I'm free to any other suggestions) But one thing I don't know is can I get any size high flow cat/test pipe(2.25,2.50,3.0) or am I bounded by the size of my header collector or my exhaust?(N00b *** questions, I know) Also if anyone can suggest a good high flow cat or test pipe I'd be appreciative. Also if I added a test pipe will my exmag still be able to keep its quiet sound?

Your exhaust will sound louder with a test pipe. You are probably better off with a high-flow cat.

if you're going with a high flow cat, you'll need a 2.25". carsound is the brand a lot of people recommend. kteller.com has them, he'll preweld the flanges on there for you too. he's a h-t user, so pm him your setup and he'll know exactly what you need (username is kteller8 i think)
