I wouldn't have left til they paid for it. Now they can say it happened on your way home and they aren't liable.

thats what i would have done to bro.. i would have stayed there cause right now they can say that your blaming it on them and that your just trying to get a free lip out of them

 

won't look the same if it's fixed. i would def. get the shop to get a new lip. that's fawked up.

 

good luck...but i dont think thats going to be fixalbe and still look right

yep, you should have said something to them, now they aren't liable.

you could try and pull the small claims court or better buisness bureau threats and see if the respond.

 

Call the BBB, for arrogant shop owners not having respect and the ability to do his job safely.

 

I would check the height of your car and make sure it was in the limits of what you local law enforment think it should be it it is then fight for them to fix it.... also look if there was any signs saying if your car is to low we arent responsible for the damages, a place around me has that so **** like this doesnt happen

******* janky *** shops. i went to this one muffler shop and the dumb ***** didn.t lower the lift all the way down even though i asked them like 3 times to make sure it was down all the way and sure enough it wasn.t and on my way off off the lift my ******* type.r lip snagged on the ******* lift. stupid bastards. i.d report the shop. that.s what i should.ve done before but didn.t

I agree that lip would never look the same if you fix it.

 

omg you didn't fill out a claim form the moment this happened?

the shop owner should have warned you that the lowered car would be a risk.

I'll go ahead and say it was your fault. You knew that you had to get up on the ramp. Why didn't you remove the lip first?
