Did some searching but nothing really helped out. My car wont start. Fuel pump isn't comming on. I started my car, and backed out of my driveway and then it died. Like 2 days later I started messing with it and it just worked all of the sudden. Drove it around for a few days and then did the same thing. Cranked it up and started down the street and fuel pump shuts off again. Is this main relay or fuel pump going bad? Any ideas?

 

go to the main relay box under the steering wheel the fuel pump wire is black and yellow see if it has fallen out. if not unbolt the main relay and hit it with something while trying to start the car i know it sound wierd but it works. if the car starts then you need a relay but if i doesnt then you need a fuel pump. or to check the fuel pump go out to your fuel fiter and take a 12 mm wrench and loosen the top and turn your key to the on position if the fuel pump works it will spray fuel in the air out of the filter.

 

Well my fuel pump is really loud. I can hear it when it is on.

 

Ok, borrowed a friends relay, not that. So im guessing its the fuel pump?

Well it was the fuel pump. Didn't go bad, but who ever owned the car b4 me spliced some wired inside the take that go to the fuel pump. Well they ended up getting brittle from the gas and broke.
