Default 92-95 Greddy turbo kit and 96-00 Greddy kit

I am 100 percent that I am getting a Greddy turbo kit for my 93 civic ex and I was wondering what kind of compatibility issues I would encounter by purchasing the 96-00 turbo kit. It comes with injectors and a slightly bigger trim turbo, but is there anything in the 96-00 kit that only works with the OBDII system and not the OBDI? Any help will be much appreciated.

The Emanage is designed for OBD-II I believe, but I'm sure there's some diagram you could use to wire it for OBD-I. If I were you, I'd buy the 96-00 kit, sell the Emanage and RC 310s, and get Uberdata and RC 440's.

The emanage is designed to work with a wide variety of cars, not just obd-2 vehicles. I have 2 emanages 1 on obd-2 and one on obd-1. Keep the emanage, its an excellent system and works well, and it comes with the kit. Getting larger injectors is a good thing too. I say go with the 96-00 kit, I dont think youll have any problems.

So get the 96-00 kit because of the injectors? The emanage will work without modification to my 93 OBDI ecu? Thanks again for the help.

yes the emanage will work without modification. The 96-00 kit has a better flowing turbo.

Just make sure when your wiring your Emanage that dont use the diagram it comes with. The skematics are for the OBD I P28. The OBDII P13(?) wiring placements are different. Use like a SAFC diagram to cross reference it.

The turbos are actually the same, it's just the wheel that's different. Being a Greddy dealer, I'll tell right now the only difference between the two turbos are the base HP rating - 250 for the 15G and 300 for the 19T. If 50BHP is worth spending the extra $400, then have at it. Realistically, you can have a 15G kit and a larger set of RC injectors for less than the 19T kit. Both kits now come with the E-Manage and aluminum piping.

I have a 15G kit, and I'm loking to get the 19T in the future most likely. That being, because I'm looking to hit 300whp and the 15G just isn't going to do it.

Do you have access to more info. on the 15G vs. 19T comparison? I'd like to read it.
