Default Camber Kits and Ball Joints?!?!?

I have an OBX 57 style camber kit that is supposed to replace the upper ball joint on my 97 lude. Every body I've talked to has said that the ball joint does not seperate from the control arm. Has any body here ever seperated one? If so, How?

The ball joint are to be pressed out. I have done it to an accord A-arm. Select a big/deep enough socket to hold the A-arm underneath the ball joint and use a right size socket that just about the size of the ball joint on top. Into the press, and pop go the joint in the bigger socket underneath. You will have to press in the the top of the ball joint camber kit, and don't even think about hammering it in.

they do separate, i have done this in my 01 prelude, you have several options, take it to a machine shop and let them deal with it and press it out or be a hardass and hammer it out, that is how i did mine, i VERY CAREFULLY took a VERY SHARP chisel and worked my way around the ball joint seat. This seemed to work very well, but my car only had 10,000 miles on it...so everything was rather new(not seized together).
