3 days ago my heater/blower fan just stopped working. Its like 40 degrees here in CT and I need to fix it fast. I was wondering if you guys knew whether the actuall motor needs replacing, or just the resistor ? Also, can I remove the heater motor without removing the dash ?
Lastly, are the blower motor/resistor from a 92-95 civic the same as the ones from a DC2 ?

well I don't know if the actual unit is to blame, but if it is, I have one for sale! Let me know if you're interested.
My blower went out and i thought it was the resistor b/c the different fan speed settings would not work. I replaced the resistor and the blower, it was a really quick fix about 30 min. Contact me if you need any details.

ok guys thanks alot for all of your replies
...This morning I pulled the blower motor, eyeballed it a little to see if something was visually wrong, and then put it back in.....and it worked ! how random is that !! I sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out why it wouldn't work, and then work all of a sudden without me even doing anything to it....but whatever, at least I wont have icicles hanging off my nuts when I get home from work.....thanks guys

This was happening on my 94LS. The motor would slow down or die. I would pull it out and manually turn it. After putting it back in, it would be fine. It would die every couple of days.
