what color is the remote wire on an eg when installing a deck?

I want to say that it is black, I could be thinking of the antenna, but black and blue are in my head right now. It's been awhile, bump for some clear answers.

EDIT: It's blue, black is ground.

 

Should be blue with a white/silver stripe. IIRC.

 

do u need to hook anything else besides the blue and white wire to the remote wire

 

If you mean for installing an amp, there is no remote wire in the factory wiring. The remote wire coming out of aftermarket head units is usually blue/white, although sometimes just blue.
To wire an amp you just connect that blue/white from the deck to the remote input on the amp.

 

Just realized how many different posts you have for this, which is all stereo, amp, sub installation. I'm betting you could have put this altogether in the Audio/Security forum and had this answered in one or two posts from other members.
