Posting For Friend... CRX PROBLEMS!!!
Aight i got an 88 crx with a 94 gsr motor. I had a B16 in the car before and it ran like **** so I took it and and desided to do
a full obd1 conversion. I ripped out the old obd0 harness and got an obd1 harness out of a 92-95 hatch and used it to rewire
the car from the headlights to the tail lights leaving not one obd0 wire in the entire car. At first the car wasn't getting any spark
or fuel but i solved that with an obd1 fuel pump, MSD Blaster Coil and new control module. the car turns over fine and makes
a pop like its goin to start but it will not stay running. i took the spark plugs out only to learn that 2 cylinders that fire n 2 arn't.
I'e tried millions of computers n still the same shitt. I changed sparkplugs and wires n still same ****. there are two codes one
is intake air temperture and electrical load detector which i think is a short in the wiring somewhere. i have taken out the harnest
and reinstalled it many times and cant fine the short anywhere. if anyone has any ideas let me know...

the rex he is talkin about is mine at first i thought grounds but i checked all of them and added some so i dont think its a grounding problem...
So you took the whole i.e. complete OBD-1 harness and worked it into the car and didn't change any wires around at all? Just plugged and played? Which hatch did you remove the harness from as there are differences between the Si, DX, and VX harnesses.
i used a cx harness with a ex soch vtec engine harness and a dx fuel pump and taillight harness
this is the car
