speedo wont keep up with car
is it common on a extremely fast accelerating car for the needle not to keep up with the actual speed of the car? my speedo needle sucks. a wrapped it around the gauge and now its stuck. before that happened every time i hit 37 in 1st and shifted to 2nd it would be lagging and when im in 3rd at ~5000 rpm it would be at 60 mph or so? so is this normal or what?
You my friend are in need of a "Stage 3 speedometer".

What transmission do you have that lets you hit 37 in first? Just curious.

8500? with a D15??? man you're gona blow your engine wayyy quick lol. Yea, that would account for 37 mph. But NOT for 130. What is done to that thing?

the d15's stroke is the shortest of the d-series engines and is shorter than all of the b-series.(i think)i have a balanced crank, forged pistons forged rods (both balanced) and aluminium retainers and ls springs from crower. not to mention a msd-6 btm for accurate spark control. not to mention my fidanza flywheel and aluminium crank pulley. my motor loves rpms. i know that thread was stupid i was just kidding
