12:1 CR build questions
Ok I final got a print up from the guys building my block heres whats going into it-
82mm Wiseco 12:1 forged pistions 470
Eagle rods 350
Type R crank Honda bearings 350
Engine gasket set 130
hot tank and buff 45
bore and hone 80
Balance rotating assembly 175
Block Assembly 100
TOTAL =1700
- What else am I going to need to run this set-up with the stock head for alittle while?
- So to run this I will need cams and, can I get by with just upgrading the springs and retainers?
- What cam chioces do I have for 12:1?
- Then what is the least expensive way to go for tuning and still do it right?
- Will this package be good for a daily driver and will it last for a good amount of time if I dont beat on it all the time?
- And one more thing If I cant come up with the money to do the head right now can I run the stock head with a 12:1 if I tune it? What would I need to tune if I just do the block?
