Default gsr master/booster cylinder on 92 hatch.

hey, sup guys. I just did the gsr front brake convertion into my 92 hatch, but I didn't change the brake booster/master cylinder. The car is runing now with out any problems, but I feel like the brake is kinda a lil bit soft maybe because I didn't change the brake booster and master cylinder.
I have already had the gsr brake master/booster cylinder but they dont fit into hatch. so my question is can I just change the none ABS (RS/GS) brake master cylinder and keep the GSR Brake Booster to make them fit? or I have to change the whole thing "master/booster cylinder" ? thanks.

You probably feel like you have a soft pedal, since you added caliper piston area. Doing that will increase your pedal travel.

I would only switch the master cylinder to a larger one if the pedal travel is just too much to handle. While increasing the master cylinder size will reduce pedal travel, your brake line pressure will decrease, reducing the overall amount of braking torque available.

What do you mean the integra mc/bb dont fit into the hatch? Why wouldnt they?

I would want to stick with the matching set, myself; but as long as the flanges match the bolts you can mis-match

I dont know about the gsr brake booster will fit or not but the gsr brake master cylinder will not because the metal brake line fittings are located in different site that will not bolt right up into hatch.

the GSR MC will fit if you bend and reflare the lines. it IS NOT bolt in. the only bolt in option is the integra RS MC if you want to use the integra BB. i'm running a 15/16 MC off a 91 civic EX 4dr with integra discs all around and stock BB. stopping power is more than adequate and pedal travel is normal

*edit
I just saw that you only have integra front discs. you should be fine using ur stock MC and BB. if your pedal is spongy, then you should re-bleed your brakes. if the pedal travel is too long, you might want to upgrade the MC

I did bleed the brake a couple times but Its still a lil kinda soft. Well I'll go to the junkyard and grab a RS brake mc and replace over the gsr one to make it work and see whats up. The only problem I'm worry about is that the gsr brake bc is a ABS one and the RS brake mc is the none ABS. I dont know how they work when we combine them together. I dont have all the tools to bend the lines plus its too much work. thanks though. I'll let you guys know after I swap the RS brake mc over the gsr brake bc .
thanks.

bending the lines is not a problem, but what would you say about the ABS line that conect to the MC? that **** is a lil bigger than the Hatch line and it dont fit. what kind of line did you use? The line on the driver side bolt right up no problem. I'm talking about the gsr brake

You need abs line ends for the mc.
Cut the flare off the civic lines, put on the abs ends, double reflare the line.
Thats it

Lies. I've slapped a 1994 brake booster and MC on a 1992 hatchback and all you have to do is bend and reflair a couple brake lines. It took longer to get to the nuts under the dash than it did to rebend the lines.

Any Civic or Integra brake booster, including the CRX, is interchangable between models. I've put a Civic one on a CRX and an Integra one on a Civic, so don't tell me I'm incorrect because I'm not. If you can't make it fit, try harder.

yeah , thats what I'm gona do. any leaking from doing that cuz you know how the Hatch fitting line is a lil smaller.

Archidictus...........your right, Civic and Integra are interchangable between models, but the problem I'm having right now is the gsr mc cuz the ABS line is a lil bigger than the none ABS. I think your is the RS one . good job.
