Default Are OBD2 H22 Heads Compatible with an OBD1 H22 Bottom End?

Does any one know if OBD2 H22 Heads are compatible with an OBD1 H22 Bottom End?

If so, is it a direct replacement? Any additional wiring needed to work?

Thanks In Advance,

Darwin

Thanks...I was pretty sure that it was compatible. However, I'm not sure if one needs to do any additional wiring?

Also aren't there differences with the distributor of OBD1 & OBD2 Engines?

So if I were to put an OBD2 Head onto a OBD1 Block, how should go about it?

Would I be able to use an OBD1 distributor if the car is OBD1 or would I need to use the OBD2 distributor?

Thanks in advance.

you would have to use an obd1 distributor, becuase the obd2 block has the crank positive sensor on the oil pump, as the obd1 has it in the distributor

So other than that, I assume everything would just bolt on up, right??

Thanks for everyone's help.

Darwin

Would there be anything else that I would need other than the OBD1 Distributor?

Thanks Again,
