Hey i have a 2000 auto prelude and im wondering if i should sell it for around 13k and buy a 'lude type sh for 15k-16k. Or i should swap the tranny to manual. What do you guys think would be best 'n cheapest. i have instlled currently aem cai, magnaflow exhaust, changed my speakers to infiniti kappa.

 

I bought an SH and the handling is a lot of fun but if your looking to go for high WHP #'s some day go with the base and save yourself a lot of trouble.

 

I'd say go for the base and put a Quaife in it...

I second that.

 

One of my friends had an aftermarket LSD installed in his Probe GT and one of the gears in it broke off and punched a hole in his transmission case. Do you know if this is a problem with all aftermarket LSDs or just particular to that specific application?

 

keep the base and make it manual.

dont do this, $2000 to make ur car a manual when u can just sell ur auto and buy a manual for same amount/less is a better option, and with a quaife lsd u will not have the lsd failure problem that the probe had, also so far the obx lsd has been working perfectly and is almost identical to the quaife but $500 cheaper, so wait a little longer to see if any probs arise with the obx and then go with that, but i wouldnt get an sh
