I am just wondering if anyone has had the same problem I am having.
I have a 95 civic hatch dx and I put in the Jdm gauge cluster. It seems to be working alright exept for the temp gauge. It just slowly goes up to above the H for hot. So to make sure it was just the cluster I put the stock one back in and it works fine.I looked at all the pins and they seem to be fine. Is there any difference between the 92-93 and 94-95 clusters?? Thanks for the help.

 

I had the same problem with my cx, when i put in an ex cluster.

the temp gauge would shoot up past hot.

I ended up getting another temp gauge and the problem was fixed.

your temp gauge might be busted

 

my cluster did that too, except for the fuel was messed up, i just put a gsr cluster in it, works great now

 

So most likely it is the temp sensor in the gauge cluster.
Any one else?
