si wire harness on hf will it work????//////
ok i have 89 hf but i have an 91 si engine harness ok the ? i have is there anyway i can wire the si to work cuz on the driver side shock tower has a clip that doesnt clip up

As far as i know you can use the si harness i know the hf harness has like one or two extra clips. but the si harness should work

Why you want to switch it over? The HF harness is identical (minus year variations) to the same year SI harness except it has a few more plugs.

im not tryin to switch over i still have the stock hf motor in the car i just got the car with out the wire harness and yes they are i dentical but the main plug next 2 the green clip for the register box does not clip...i tryed to take out the pins and plug them straight but the si harness has 2 less wires...i would use hf harness but no 1 semms to have 1 for sale

the resistor Clip doesn't fit? hmm that's weird...89 - 90's had some minor changes....well if all else fails bro..you can go and rip the resistor plug off of some other Hf harness and butt splice it to the SI harness...count the pins.....and get back to us....i'd like to know if there is a differnece in the injectors and the amount of flow being dispensed.....

The 88 Si harness has a square plug and the 89-91 Si harness has a round plug at the injector resistor. Are you sure you have a 91 harness and an 89 hf?

are you saying the resistor box plug is round on the 88? or the 2nd plug by the resistor box is round?
