Default LS block-b16 internals...

any info on this? is it worth the time? Or is it better to just go with the LS rods and pr3 pistons...
(I have an LS engine and the internals from a B16a2)

also does anyopne have the part number for the LS rod bolts from ARP? I got some from Summit but they are not the right ones and that's all they have...

im redoing my block as well. will be using LS rods and B16 pr3 pistons.

can u use GSR rods or b16 rods in an LS block? my friend has a set of GSR P72 rods in his shop with ARP rod bolts already installed. i cant use that in my block right?

keep the LS rods and use te B16 pistons! The LS has a longer stroke than the B16! This will yeild higher compression for you! Just use ARP Rod bolts and new bearings and if you pan on taking the motor past 7500 rpms, shotpeen the rods!

b16 internals in an ls block would yeild the lowwest compression that you dont want the b18 block is hmmm cant remember 5mm or 7mm taller than the b16 block either way thatss a lot of mm for your pistons to not meet the deck height.

itr internals in a b18b however is a great way to raise compresion and gain a better rod/ratio.

What are you trying to build, LS/Vtec or Allmotor LS?

Ya that would be kinda goofy doing all the work to put a B16 crank in a LS block, it would yeild like a 2:1 compression ratio prolly wouldn't even run at idle not enough compression to keep it going. LS rods with PR3 pistons is very good for a all motor LS or LS/VTEC.........................
