Question for 98 LS owners
Is there anything under the hood from the factory that says Mitsubishi? Anything that has the diamond star? My girlfriend swears that in 1998 she bought a new LS and people joked on her car because she had something with Mitsubishi on it in the engine compartment. I really need to know. Thanks for your help!
i doubt it
maybe she bought it from a mitsubishi dealer and they put mitsubishi of blah blah on her air box...like this acura dealer that sold my car ot the first owner had

only thing different about a 98ls...is its the only year that came with a really queer looking set of wheels....not the common ls meshes...they are rims but look really odd....other than that aint nothing different about my car

Yup, IVI is right..
Under the hood of my 98 teg there were belts that had a little green and white diamond star emblem that said "Mitsubishi" i think. I threw them out when i put on the pulley kit but it was either that or something close to it? Maybe someone out there still has the stock parts? Now that you all got me wondering again.. But its not just another honda myth, this ones true..
