Default USDM ITR CLUSTER SWAP

Anyone here do a ITR cluster swap into an EF? I know GSR cluster swaps have been done so don't tell me that and search for it. What I really want to know is because the ITR cluster is OBD2 do you need to swap out the green circuit board out and put on a OBD1 GSR circuit board. I've heard you need to do this to make it work correctly

any pics of an ek cluster in an ef??

from the info that i have gathered, its just wiring it up, no need to switch circuit boards. I think kataku2k3 had a few diagrams, but i can't find them anymore.

if anyone has any diagrams...post'em up. I was tossing about the idea of also swapping in a gsr/itr cluster.

the people saying you need to swap some circuit board might be refering to the vss on the back of the stock cluster. i just switched to an electric vss. its easy. and the wiring is easy as well. just trace the backs of the clusters to see what wire does what. its not hard to figure out if you know what you are doing. i used NO writeups to do my gsr cluster swap and everything worked perfect the first time i put it in. just takes time and attention.

I recently purchased an US ITR Cluster ( EK Si does look better ) but I got
the ITR w/23k miles for 175 shipped.

The person I bought it from converted the back of the Cluster to 94 spec
so I could wire it right up like you would an OBD1 OEM GSR Cluster.

I will be wiring this up this month in my 89Si with 01 GSR Swap Ill be sure
to post pics as well as how it goes..

How do you guys go about mounting the ITR / GSR Cluster? I know to use
the top screw hole to secure it to the hood but what else is needed for a
nice tight fit?

TIA, And hopefully the answers will help all of us doing this swap

what did the person you bought it from do to convert it for OBD-1? Are you saying he swapped out the circuit board like I was originally asking about?

Not sure if you can do those.. They have some tricky wiring and immobilizers etc which work with the cluster.. Im not sure how well
they would fit inside the cluster hood as well. Pacman did an S2K Cluster
on his K20 powered CRX .. I hear its a royal PITA if even possable with OBD1 / 0

yeah that would be but that has nothing to do with my question on swapping an ITR cluster into an EF.

PLEASE KEEP POSTS RELATED TO THE THREAD SO I DON'T HAVE TO READ THROUGH ALL THE CRAP
