well my friend said he bought a used civic hatch vx , with no passenger sideview mirror... he told me it was a option....
for me its hard to believe that, and i was thinking he just has lack of knowledge..
well i dunno, can sum1 confirm this? thanks...

 

That sounds a little off, however I did see a civic hatch a little while back with a plastic cover piece instead of a side mirror.... and it was bone stock, some old lady was driving it. I have no clue.

 

CX or VX didn't have them standard from the factory. DX & Si hatchbacks did.

Unless you really want a stock passenger side mirror, try to find a used one cheap either on HT or at a junkyard. Otherwise, it maybe more cost effective to get a pair of Spoon style mirrors.

 

my cx came with one, i should look at the original sales invoice and see if it was charged as an option. that is if i can find my original invoice.....

 

I am pretty sure that it was an option. I have seen a couple of them without passenger side mirrors.

 

yea i have 93 dx coupe and i have no side view miroor on the passagner side i have a block off plate let me see if i have a picture

 

My 92 vx didn't come with one but my 94 vx did.

Not one of the 3 hatches I've owned came with a passenger mirror. It was defenitly an option from the factory. Si's I believe were the only ones which came with a mirro right from the factory. I've had a DX, and now own a CX and VX.

 

I used to own a vx and it didn't have a passenger mirror. It may have been a dealership add on. Kind of like how some si never came with ac.

If anyone wants to buy a passenger side mirror I have one, just im me.
