It seemed to me like you were questioning why someone would do this, not "If it would work" Or "Is there a difference"

So I walk into this scummy little 'hole in the wall' bar here on the North Shore and there's this horse sitting there having a drink. So being the friendly guy I am, I walk up to him and say "have a rough day? Why the long face?"

 

The rail is the same but looks different.
