The money order was from the post office, and was sent through them as well. Anyone wanna verify with me what steps I can take in the process to possible get some $ back?

Say story, either this kid isnt a kid, or he could potentially mess up his father name. One of them is a homeowner.

the post office has a anti-fraud department. Go to your local post office or the one u went to send the MO out, and ask them for that number. Call them, tell them that you have been a victim of a fraud scheme and they will send some paperwork to your house. Once it has been sent, fill it out and include any evidence, i.e. conversations the both of you had, original post, etc. Once that's done, the USPS will review it and then file a claim against him and send some mail to him. They say that he's a suspect of illegal activity or whatever and i guess threatens him or something. Since the post office MO is government property, they are not fond of matters like this.

That's what I did and I got my full refund. Let us know how it goes
