Default FS: K40 undetectable 2000 radar detector and laser diffuser plus system. $1500 retail

good thing i keep forgetting to keep this thread alive...

yea so this system is ridiculous if you've ever read about it. it's a dealer option on ferraris and porsches and whatnot.
http://www.k40.com

what i have is the 2000P undetectable radar detector system (front and rear protection) as well as the laser diffuser system. if you get this installed at an authorized dealer K40 GUARANTEES you won't get tickets or they'll pay for them... even if you don't want to buy it, read the reviews, i found 'em interesting.

so anyway, i'm looking to get $525. the stuff has never been used, still in original packaging, wires still wrapped in original twist ties and everything, i just took it out to take some pictures.

reason i'm selling is that at this point in my life i could spend the money way more effectively than on this crazy protection. and i don't really drive all that fast...

this is sitting in its boxes and collecting dust, which is just wrong. somebody buy it and put it to good use please...

*****UPDATE: exact model #s are: K40-2000P, and LD5500PLUS

*****UPDATE: i don't think the authorized install matters anymore, i just think you need the warranty cards, which i have

heh, damn right. there's a warranty card for both the laser diffuser portion and the radar detector. each states that for one full year, if you get a ticket from the respective method of speed checking, they'll pay for it. to some people that alone has to be worth more than the $525...buy buy buy

thanks , more people other than the seller saying that the better

as to install costs, i don't really know...but you can do it yourself anyway. that's what i intended to do, can't be much harder than my audio install, especially with the instructions
