V-AFC on '97 Accord EX 4-door 5-SPD
I'd like to hear some V-AFC stories..
how hard was it to install ? can any idiot program the fuel maps ? do you NEED to dyno tune it or can some power be extractred without ?
Is it worth getting for an Accord VTEC 5-spd with only minor bolt ons (I/H/E, FPR) ?
What kind of power increases can one expect ?

3500 rpm... yeah, it seems low, but two separate dyno runs proved it was the best x-over point... and i haven't had any problems with the oil pump... to give you an idea how much power there is to be gained, by lowering the VTEC threshold, i got 17whp at 4000rpm... and 17ft-lb torque... not too shabby...
took about 2 hours... and yes i still have the F22B1 motor... a VAFC is essential as it increases performance and efficiency (better fuel economy)...
Do you guys know what VTM is.. im not sure if my 96 EX has this.. any info would be helpfull.. im planning on installing my VAFC soon.. also what kind of set up are you running, and what are your settings on your VAFC.. thanks
