for the 01-05 civics what models do the offer?? I know they have the type R, but what else. Do they have ex lx dx ect. with the d17 in them??

Both utilize the D17. The Ferio also gets a D15 in low end models.

And of course there are also the Civic GX, Civic Hybrid (both Ferio models), and the Civic Type-R 3-door.

It's not AWD. It is 4WD. RealTime 4WD.

Why would it be bullshit? There are JDM D17 engines.

What would be bullshit is if he thinks it is somehow any better than a USDM D17.

I would think that the swap would be very hard due to the fact that everting would be flipped around. i guess people swap Bs and Ks from type Rs though

The only thing that comes with a JDM engine that is "flipped around" is the wiring harness . . . which you remove and replace with your existing harness anyway.

None of that other **** relating to the driver's side of the car (i.e. throttle cable, brake MC/booster/prop valve, power steering lines, etc.) is attached to the engine. Even if it was, you'd just swap it all out for your own existing pieces.
