close call with timing belt!!!
So i am still losing oil somewhere, changed oil pan gasket, none in coolant, head gasket is good. So i figure Lets change the valve cover gasket and right after i take the valve cover off I am pretty amazed on how clean the cams are, not any burned black gunk to the valve cover or anything. Then i look at the timing belt in disamazement. Im not sure if it was OEM from 0 miles or what but it sure looked like it. It was so dry rotted and loose im suprised and actually wondering how it didnt / jump or break. Does anyone know how to tell if your belt was changed? It had the honda belt on it but maybe it was done at the dealer? Also can they look up your car by VIN # to check, if anyone knows let me know. In the mean time i changed my belt and tensioner.
Lucky me.
Edit: 122.000 And i just got back from miami a few days ago. Timing belt braking at 130 would not be good.

My original belt or what I believe to be was the original belt snapped at 170k miles.
Its not hard at all and def. you should do it. Its worth the time and money to know its safe.
