Default Removing 2nd gen CRX hatch...

My Rex is leaking water at the top of the rear hatch. I would like to remove the hatch to repair it but I can't figure out how to unplug the wiring harness to the hatch. Most newer hondas have a connector right near that boot. Anyone know where that connector is? I tried removing the plastic cover below the 3rd brake light but I can't get it to come off. I removed the 4 plastic screws but it is still on there tight. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

my handy dandy honda service manual says to just pull the harness all the way out. but tie a string to is so that you can pull the harness back through the hole.

So the harness disconnects behind that plastic cover below the third brake light? Any hints to getting that cover off? I have the manual for my GSR and my former Prelude but don't have one for the Rex yet. I removed the 4 plastic screws that hold that cover on but I still can't get it to come off.

Thanks,
Chris
