Default 88 CRX Si Brakes ????? How To Remove Brake Booster, MC ?????

basically my brakes on my crx si are mad f*cked up and a couple of people looked at it and said it has to be my brake booster.

so im just going to the junkyard and going to pull a brake booster and master cylinder.

my question is how difficult is it to take both of them off. the master cylinder looks like it is jus 2 bolts and unhooking some lines, how do you get the brake booster off??????

You have to remove the pedal to booster pin. Then remove the firewall to booster nuts.
Unfortunately all this is under the dash.

I'd make sure the check valve between the booster and intake manifold was working before i took anything apart. Remove the vacuum hose from the booster there should be vacuum.

Part of the same problem. You're drawing in more air through the brake booster, due to a bad diaphram or other problem in the booster.

EVERYTHING is in the way, at least for me. all i have is a 3/8 drive ratchet, and a couple of 12mm sockets with a 3" extension. i've been at it for almost 3 hrs with breaks in between and i've only removed 2 of the 12mm nuts! i need help.

You don't need to bump a thread for it to be useful is the point.

Right, but I wouldn't consider that post to be a bump. It was relevant, if a bit dated.
