Hows the TYC EF mirrors? Im just looking for something black since it will be painted to match the car, no CF.

Visions are going for 250 up and are CF, not exactly what Im looking for

I had the TYC Vision/Spoon style mirrors on my hatch but didnt like the way they looked
So I got a set of EG Vision/Spoon style mirrors and modified them to fit on my hatch but I now have a set of Vision knock offs I bought from a member here on HT (dont have pics of those thought)
here is a pic for you to see what the EG ones looked like on my hatch
If you like they way they look I'll sell them to you LMK

You should've gotten these when they went for this price! TYC ones for the 92-95 civic $30.00 shipped! Some company sold all it's stock of them and so I just made my own bases for them. A lil more time and it'd look even better.

Since then I cleaned off a lot of that silicone and secured them a lil better. I hated the tyc bases anywho, made the mirros stick out too far. I should've bought two sets. I'll redo the bases sometime later on. I just used a screwdriver and a dremel to do that with an oil drip pan sheet of plastic.

hope that helps

cw, yeah it's real easy to do. the bases come off with a couple screws and it's pretty much cover up the hole in your door w/a correct shaped piece of plastic. I've had mine shoot for about a year now and they're still fine....except a pass. of mine slammed my door like it was a tank door and now the pass mirror rattles . He still denies he did it to this day...oh well.

i didnt mean to discourage you at all. Honestly i would love the vision mirrors or anything like them, but i am not about toi shell out 300$ for mirrors on a 1200$ car, just not rational. The TYC mirrors fit excellent, they look good, and visibility is better than any of my friends cars with spoon mirrors or spoon replicas, which is what really matters to me

Speaking of mirrors. Since some of you have modified mirrors from an EG, is it possible to put stock eg mirrors on the ef hatches?

I have the TYC mirrors. I'm not even sure why I cheaped out and bought them. They're not terrible overall, but I hate them more everytime I look at them. I just bought some real Visions, but they're not going on this car.

Here you go, probably can fit CRX by modding it a bit.

all you have to do is redrill one or two mounting holes on the base in the car to mount the mirrors takes like 2 mins to do
