Default New DC5 for me!

Well the time has come to retire my DC2. But out with the old, in with the new. Bought this one about a month ago. Im very happy with it so far. It reminds me alot of my DC2 but much more refined. For being a stock car, its pretty impressive. Im going to keep this one very simple. I dont want to worry about cops/smog as much as i did with my last car.

So far the only mod is an injen short ram. Next week im going to buy either the DC or JR race header. As soon as Omni re-releases there DC5 suspension next month those will be put on along with a set of silver OEM DC5 ITR wheels. Im still debating wheather or not to replace the stock exhaust since the cali cops are cracking down pretty hard and the stock exhaust is pretty descent anyways.

Well anways here a few photos of the ney toy. Ill post up more when i get some work done.

sorry no more pics.

I think we've talked about it here a few times already.

Although there's only a 10 HP difference between the '05 and earlier years, there's a lot more power under the curve w/the '05 car. Different cams, head revision, computer changes...all adds up to a much more pleasurable driving experience.

There are a lot of little changes to the suspension, too, in an effort to make a McPherson car the best it can be.

Sweeeeet...

I bought mine on November 18th. Blaze Orange Metallic. I've got AEM V2 intake, and APEX-i N1 Catback so far. got set of 4 BFGoodrich 225/40/18 tires, but no wheels yet! Haven't made up my mind on a set of wheels. I think I'll go for a subtle drop with the Eibach prokit coils.

Love the car, first import i've ever owned 1,400 miles on it in 3 weeks Might want to slow it down.

AzZKikRt10 you have any pics you could e-mail me? I haven't seen orange blaze yet except on the honda website... haven't seen any personal owners shots.

if so, send 'em my way if you want, I'd really like to see them.

actually that paint on my dc2 was not the stock color, it was off of a ford truck. I still have it, but plan to sell it soon. Im having second thoughts though. i drove it for the first time in a month, and damn, i missed the thing.

If I think about it i'll get some today.
But it's supposed to rain all day.

My opinion on the bom, is it's rare. All I ever see are Blue pearl, and Silver RSX's. And I just like orange period. Although it's not the exact orange I expected. On a nice sunny day it looks great. In shady / cloudy conditions it almost looks peach but i'll manage.
