Default Anyone with DA cluster in a 88-89 hood ??

I searched and all I found was 90-91s with the integra cluster... I guess that means I'm SOL, but I just thought I'd ask, I really like the DA cluster, I have 2..

I know I can convert to the 90-91 dash, but that's an insane amount of work to swap a cluster...

hoping I can use it...

droppedcrxsi is WRONG. The hood doesn't "bolt right up", " line right up", or look ok on a 88-89 dash...

There is going to be about a 1/2 gap where the cluster hood sits on the dash...

I'm going to make it work, but its definatly going to be "clean". I had to chop the crap outta the dash itsself and a little off the cluster...

I'll have pics in the next few days up. I really just wanted to clean this up for any 88-89 just as myself that maybe searching for the answer in the future. I just really need a 125+ speedo... DX tranny ownz.

That pic aboce doesn't look like an Integrta cluster to me. But he is correct about switching the cluster covers form an 88-89 to the 90-91. Its very easy to do and fits great as i have done it myself on my own 89 crx and it fit great when i did an Sir cluster.

When we´re on the topic of changing clusters and cluster hoods. What part exactly is that bracket that you need to change or modify as well ? Got any pics ?

"Just swap to a 90-91 hood, it fits"

Notice you didn't say anything about having to come from a civic or a CRX. I'll have to goby the JY again tomorrow and get a 90-91 CIVIC hood.

Sorry I said that you were, but it seemed that you were ( by looking at my dash ), but really grow up a little, you act like I called you some insanely embarising name or something.

I was wrong, I'm not mad. sorry I ruined your month, but please don't beat your wife and/or kids or anything.... Wow

Thanx for the correct info, non the less.

If your on a CRX it fits 100% perfect like OEM theres no diff between the actual dash's on CRX's just the hoods + clusters

I got the civic hood and it fits great. Has to be a 90-91 civic hatchback cluster hood.
