88 struts/shocks....

88 struts/shocks....
i was looking for struts for my 88 rex and found out that 89-91 struts dont fit...anyone know why or can they fit?? and also if it doesnt fit what can i change out to have 88-91 struts or should i just buy 88's.....thanks

88-91 fronts are all the same..
To run 89-91 rear suspension get 89-91 rear lower control arms..88 has a pivot eyeball suspension and 89-91 has the fork style..
And you have shocks not struts..Or dampers as I like to call them..
