To have turbo or no?
Hey guy!!!! thanks for all your comments.! I finally got my gsr motor put in by a friend of mines. I can not believe what my crx could do. I am so proud of my idea of chosing the gsr beside the b16a LOL. But the time has come to add turbo now.
I haven't quiet yet decide on what turbo kit to boost the gsr. I been looking and they cost around 2.9k - 3.8k
So should i do turbo?
a little reminder . .

if turbo is what you want go for it. you can piece together your own kit for cheaper. maybe even a junkyard turbo. it all depends on what you want.
Sexyaznmami how sexy are you got any pics? lemme holla

you could get a Hahn Racecraft Super 20G. the 16G is probably too small for the numbers you are turning. the 20G and 25G would suit your motor pretty well. They are both smaller then a T3/T04 I believe, but not by much, and they use a T3 housing so they would still bolt up to the mani you have. you could then either bypass your external gate and use the turbo's internal one, or the other way around (that makes more sense). putting a mitsubishi-based turbo on a honda engine might be seen as blasphemy though.
Otherwise, I would say you should just stick with the same turbo you have, just get it rebuilt or get a smaller trim. There are a lotof different T3/T04s out there, and one of them would probably suit your application best because odds are a T3 is too small and a T04 is too big." From Beyond.ca
Edit: yeah go turbo

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but the idea of everyone going turbo is starting to **** me off. You know, turbo-charging used to be cool, but now it's just played out. Turbo is the new JDM/RICE
. **** it.... On a side note; I'll bet a brand spankin' new greddy kit, 75% of the people on this board, or anywhere for that matter, don't even know what the main point of having a turbo is. You know what, I think I'll make a poll in the near future after seeing some responses.

what?
i bought my first (and only, currently) turbo car not because it was "cool," but because it hauled ***.
it was 1993, and i found a pristine 1986 Mazda 626GT 5-door... 2.0 8v turbo... until then, the fastest car i had ever owned was my MGB - and MGBs aren't that fast. even with all the work i'd done to mine, it still had a top speed of about 96 mph and a 0-60 time of 11 seconds.
but that turbo Mazda was a monster; sub-8 seconds to 60, torque-steer like a ****, and awesome punch on the highway.
sure, it wasn't much compared to today's performance sedans and sports cars, but then it was hot...
i'd like to turbo my Honda. i'd like to turbo my Jaguar. i like going fast. why the hell else would you want to do it?

How do you figure turbo is rice? What is rice? I thought it was a food. All the people that scream rice are idiots. Just cause you don't like something it's not rice. You can call my car rice all you want, but when you hear pshhh and see me fly on by make sure you don't choke on your mouth full of s@*#, cause thats all your talkin.

you are gay, turbo cant get played out, it doesnt matter how much people have it or want it, it still makes lots and lots of power
and this was directed towards him sheissrx, and as far as reliability i dont think n/a is more reliable at all, if you have a fully built high compression motor it needs just as much tuning as a turbo car, but yes having a fast n/a car is alot more of a accomplishment over having a fast turboed car
