Default Vtec poping with no vtec computer

would vtec pop with a MSD RPM activated switch that is ran from the vtec soilenoid to a non vtec computer

it should work with any 12v feed hooked to any switch

My friend disconnected his solenoid and ran a switch to it. The car went into limp mode.

Yep the ecu is looking for a ohm setting I think if you disconnect the vtec plug it pops the check light to

That's how a shop over in nanuet wired my friend's LS/VTEC hatch. Fucktards. .

Technically it should, because The sending wire to the VTEC solenoid is just a 12v wire, but the fuel and timing maps are probally fucked. Anddd the VTEC computer is going to be looking for alot more **** than just a 12v signal. Speed sensor, oil pressure, temperature, rpm, etc. .
