Electrical problem on 1990 Integra GS.
I'mhaving a problem starting my 1990 Integra. BAsically tried replacing the computer and Autozone tested my distributor to oand say its fine. It appears not to be getting any fuel or spark. Any thoughts?
have the same problem in my 93 teg.......switched out main realy still not a spark or any fuel.....still wondering why im not getting any spark or fuel so if you figure yours out please post what was your solution!!!!!!! a free bump for you and a good luck from me
Thanks for the information. I will keep you posted on if and whenI find out my problem. On another Integra I have I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose wire on the ignitor. One of the wires needed to be placed in wire holder and it was not placed there by the previous owner that had replaced the part (saw it int h repair records). ANyway, I placed the wire in the holder and the problemwas solved. Well, I will have to start digging to see what the problem is with this one.

I think it is the main relay, but I am waiting for my brother to install a new one.
For your problem, have you checked your computer? Are you sure, fuel and spark are missing. If just spark, check your coil and ignitor.

To bad Cleveland is like 600 miles away. I'd love to take a shot at your problem. Are you sure your coil and ignitor are good? Just because it is new doesn't mean it is good. Do you have 12 V at yout primary coil input? Just some basics to rule out before you test something else. Also, if your problemis fuel related then the distributor area is not likely the cause assuming you have only one problem.
I just got done putting 4 new tires and and all new pads and shoes on my Chevy Nova. I'm wasted right now! )

yeah dude i pulled the disributor off and put it on my buddys and it started his car right up!!!! and there is no fuel no spark ecu has been checked main relay has been changed etc........ still no spark and no fuel
harness or relay related. relay's are the normal problem in honda no-start situations. as for you're dizzy.... i wouldn't just trust autozones judgement, i'd double check their fine knowledge. do it this way: take #1's wire and plug out (keeping the plug in the wire and the wire in the dizzy) then ground the plug on the exhaust mani. hold this by the wire and make sure you dont have any other part of your body touching the car or else you'll get shocked. have someone else get in the car and turn the ignition and try to start the car. have them hold it long enough to see if theres a spark (you have to be looking at the plug, it doesn't take a concentrated look, you'll be able to see and hear a spark.) if you get nothing or its really faint, then not enough spark.
