I have been fixing up my integra and im moving along pretty good. The problem I seem to be having is strange.
When ever I start the car up, it starts right up and then kills on me and then sometimes comes back on right after it dies. I don't have to touch the key for it to come back on which you will see in the video. It does this one time and it will stay running. It only seems to happen at low RPM when I put more load on the car. For example, I can make the problem happen if I am stopped and take off from second as opposed to first gear. It starts to act up. I seem to be loosing power in the car which makes me think that it's a ignition switch that is the problem, but I got one from pull a part and I'm having the same problem. I changed the distributor to another one b/c of a different sensor and the I am having the same problem. So, the ignitor is different. The spark plugs are pretty new. The spark plug wires could be replaced. I changed the main fuel relay a while back as well. The only thing I can think of is maybe the fuel filter is clogged but why would I loose the lights on the dash when the car kills?? I was thinking maybe it's a vacumm leak as well. I sprayed down most of the hoses to see if anything leaks and came up with nothing. I sprayed down by the fuel injectors to see if the O rings were leaking and nothing. I need to check the TB gasket tonight.
It does not idle unstable for the most part. It only happens when I start the car or in low rpm with load. Other than that the car drive really good. I don't have any check engine lights on. The video will explain it a little more. I do keep hearing little pops in the exhaust and it does effect the idle a tiny bit. Anyone want to take a shot at this? I am going to get a fuel filter tonight b/c I have not changed that out yet and it needs to be done.
Thanks,
Ryan

I had an Accord in my shop with the same issue. To diagnose the problem, you will need to start the car and when you go to let the key roll backwards after the engine has fired keep very little forward pressure on the key. The problem should not occur. Another way to check for this issue is while the car is at a standstill and already at idle, give the key a little wiggle and the car should try to die on you. If either one or both of these methods yield the correct results, your ignition switch is to blame.

The car seems to have a clutch bypass b/c I don't have to push the clutch in to start the car. I wonder if this is the problem? But it still doesn't explain the power cut. That would just not let the starter turn. Im going to go through everything tomorrow and go get a fuel filter and stuff. This is driving me nuts.
I have started the car and tried turn the key back and foward to try and hit a bad contact on the switch but had no luck finding it. When this happened on my sedan I could find the bad contact point. This time I can't
