i just installed a 97 junkyard tranny , and a brand new clutchmasters 4 clutch, and resurfaced the flywheel. I also replaced my master cltuch cylinder(leaking), then i bled the lines properly.
yet my clutch doesn't feel very hard, it's ok , but feels softer than before, and i also had the same clutchmasters 4 clutch before. Why would the clutch feel soft somewhat? also , there are no leaks, master cylinder ok, slave is ok, lines ok, etc...
any help could be appreciated.

 

how did u bleed the system? sounds like u didnt bleed it properly

 

did you replace the pressure plate?

 

hmm..

probably got air in the system, and did u get a pressure plate? check the linkage might have not been adjusted well.

 

Have you replaced the slave cylinder yet?

 

no , slave cylinder is good.
pressure plate is new.
system is beld properly, im 4 sho' .

 

new throwout bearing with the clutch? could not be working properly
